Concentration & molarity
Enter a concentration to see it in every unit. Add a molecular weight to convert to molarity.
Equivalent concentrations
For laboratory research calculations only. Always verify measurements independently. Not intended to guide human or animal use.
Volume to draw
Given a stock concentration, work out the volume that contains a target amount of peptide.
Volume required
For laboratory research calculations only. Always verify measurements independently. Not intended to guide human or animal use.
Mass units
Convert a mass between grams, milligrams, micrograms and nanograms.
Equivalent masses
For laboratory research calculations only.
How to use this converter
Concentration in mg/mL is numerically equal to g/L, so molarity is simply the concentration in g/L divided by the molecular weight: mol/L = (mg/mL) ÷ MW. To prepare a stock solution from a lyophilised vial in the first place, use our reconstitution calculator. For definitions of the terms here, see the peptide glossary; for compound-specific molecular weights, browse the research guides or the catalogue.
